Originally trained as an Art Therapist, Ginger has been counseling since 2007, in the fields of wilderness therapy and therapeutic boarding schools, and most recently, as a Learning Specialist/Student Counselor in the ASPIRE department.
Ginger believes in the power of healthy relationships to heal and empower one’s true purpose in life. She has walked beside many clients as they've uncovered blocks to discover their efficacy and altruistic power in this world. She assists students in their whole-person development, utilizing a variety of approaches to foster each individual’s highest potential for academics, professionalism and personal well-being. Ginger enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, painting, exploring nature, and training for running events.
Kelley Sills serves as an ASPIRE counselor and learning specialist. She is a licensed professional counselor and a certified advanced yoga teacher with a focus on the therapeutic application of yoga. Kelley received her bachelor’s degree from Emory University and master’s degree in mental health counseling from Marshall University. She holds a Kripalu Yoga teaching certificate and an advanced yoga teaching certificate from the Center for Integrative Yoga Studies.
Kelley believes that every challenge life presents offers a unique opportunity for personal growth. She enjoys helping medical students find those opportunities in the challenges they face during their training to become doctors. She is fascinated by the mind/body interface and therapeutic practices that heal the whole person.
In her free time, Kelley enjoys time in nature, imaginative fiction, expressive arts and her own yoga practice.
Julianna Quick is a licensed professional counselor and works in ASPIRE as a student counselor and learning specialist.
She is a Lewisburg native and has been in the mental health field since 2007. She received her bachelor's degree from Ohio University in Athens, OH.
She continued her education to receive a master's and educational specialist's degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. Julianna is able to work with students that are experiencing both academic and emotional struggles.
Her current professional interests include learning and the brain, grit/resilience, and mindfulness-based stress reduction. When she is not chasing her toddler around the house, she enjoys spending time in the woods and going to the movies.
Brenda Lemine has served as Administrative Secretary Senior in the ASPIRE program at WVSOM since August 2013. She provides administrative and clerical support to the program.
Prior to this position she worked in the medical community in many capacities, most recently as a medical transcriptionist. She graduated from West Virginia Career College in Morgantown, in 1977, with a certificate in Secretarial Sciences and has continued her studies throughout the years at the local community college.
Brenda is a native of the Lewisburg area and has two sons who also remain in the area. She is a lover of all animals, greatly enjoys spending time with her pets, and shares Dr. Ryan's "crazy cat lady" distinction. She is also a bit of a sports fanatic and loves watching her favorite teams. In her spare time she enjoys crafting, photography,
