Greetings
Manuel Ballas, D.O.
President, WVSOM Alumni Association
Greetings and congratulations to all of you, the D.O. grads and the MSBS grads.
Take a look around, and don’t forget to thank all those who helped you get here — your classmates, teachers, staff, friends, family and loved ones
The WVSOM Alumni Association is proud of you. You are now one of us — family! We are here to help you on your journey, wherever it may take you.
Remember where you came from. WVSOM began with a graduating class of 33 students. Previous graduates made it possible for the school to still be here. Be WVSOM proud. Be proud of yourself. Be proud of where you came from.
Bless you all.
Bradley Harris
President, WVSOM Foundation
On behalf of the WVSOM Foundation, congratulations on reaching this extraordinary milestone. Whether you are earning your D.O. degree or MSBS degree, you are stepping into a world that deeply needs your passion, expertise and care.
At the WVSOM Foundation, we are honored to support students like you who are dedicated to transforming lives and strengthening the future of health care. As you begin this next chapter, know that we believe in you and stand beside you as champions of your journey.
Keep going, keep growing and never forget the power of your calling.
Michael Antolini, D.O.
President, West Virginia Osteopathic Medical Association
I’d like to express my enthusiastic congratulations to the WVSOM Class of 2025 on reaching this important milestone. You’re entering the osteopathic profession at a remarkable time. Our influence is expanding, our numbers are growing, and the tools at our disposal — especially in technology — are transforming how we diagnose and treat patients. But even with these advances, one thing remains unchanged: The most vital part of care is you. Nothing can replicate the power of personal connection and the healing touch at the heart of osteopathic medicine.
For more than 50 years, WVSOM has shaped physicians who lead with skill and compassion. For more than 100 years, West Virginia Osteopathic Medical Association has stood ready to support physicians like you through advocacy, continuing education and community. We invite you to join us. Together, we can strengthen our profession and improve care for all.
Class of 2025 Residency Placement Rate 100%
This event is streamed live. Indoor viewing is available in the Conference Center in the WVSOM Student Center.
Receptions will take place in the Conference Center in the WVSOM Student Center and the Roland P. Sharp Alumni Conference Center after the ceremony.
