DO 20-2. Policy

2.1

Audit students are those who are taking the class only for purposes of refreshing or acquainting themselves with the material offered in the course. Auditing will be allowed only if there is adequate space available in the class and the audit is approved in writing by the Course Directors and the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean. Only preclinical courses may be audited.

2.2

Matriculated students, faculty and staff of WVSOM will be eligible to audit a class at WVSOM. Attendance and other requirements for auditors shall be determined by the instructor of the course being audited. It is not possible to change a course status from audit to credit. No tuition will be charged. All applicable fees for the course will be charged. No examination(s) will be administered. NO CREDIT WILL BE AWARDED.

Any deviation from this policy must be approved by the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean.
