Thesis: Biocultural effects on recent historic vitamin D deficiency in the United States and their role in spinal pathology.
Research Interests
Forensic anthropology: I conduct student lead research on decomposition, skeletonization, and determining postmortem intervals.
Paleopathology: I also conduct research on ethics around legacy teaching collections, metabolic bone disease (vitamin D deficiency), biocultural variables, biological profiles and genealogy, and spinal pathology.
