Lectures on Sept. 29, 30 and Oct. 3 are available for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit (3 hours total). You must Register for CME credit! 

Each of our speakers have been faced with a challenge that they have faced before medical school, during medical school, during residency, and/or as a practicing physician. The goal of the presentations is to demonstrate how three successful osteopathic physicians overcame their individual challenges and used what they learned to become amazing physicians. Not only are they amazing physicians each of our speaker’s will provide how they feel their past challenge has help them form how they care for patients. All medical students, residents, and physicians have they unique life experiences. The presentations will be inspirational and guide individuals to realize how they can take their challenges and make them an asset.

Objectives

  • Describe your experience and challenges with medical school admission, training, and/or practice.
  • Explain how those challenges shaped your career.
  • Describe how your experiences have influenced the care you provide to patients.
