2025 National Rural Health Day

National Rural Health Day (NRHD) in 2025 will be observed on Thursday, November 20.

NRHD is an annual event that highlights the unique healthcare needs of rural communities and celebrates the efforts of healthcare providers, organizations, and individuals working to improve rural health. It is sponsored by the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH).

The purpose of NRHD is to:

Raise awareness of rural health issues
Promote access to quality healthcare in rural areas
Support rural healthcare workforce development

Celebrate the achievements of rural healthcare providers
