Make sure you review all of our admissions requirements so that you are aware of everything that is required. We will complete an initial review of applications that are verified through AACOMAS with official MCAT scores (within 3 calendar years of desired matriculation).
Review of applications occurs throughout the cycle as applicants are “verified” by AACOMAS. An initial review begins upon receipt of the supplemental application and letters of recommendation. Any request for additional information or updates to application status will be communicated via email.
An initial review of your application will begin upon receipt of the completed supplemental application. Letters of recommendation are required to move forward in the review process. If a letter requirement is outstanding you will be notified accordingly.
Applications will remain “Under Review” throughout the application cycle until a decision is reached. All application status updates will be communicated via email and MyWVSOM .
“Decision Deferred” indicates a hold status. In this case, a subsequent decision could not be reached at time of review. Applicants are encouraged to continue to send academic updates to AACOMAS and reach out to the admissions office with any additional information they would like added to their file. If you are invited to interview, you will be contacted by email with detailed instructions regarding additional forms that must be completed prior to arriving on campus.

WV Residents: Supplemental Fee is waived. Out-of-State Residents: $80
