Welcome
For nearly a decade now, accolades acknowledge what medical students have known for years. WVSOM is a great place to become a great doctor.

We invite you to explore and discover for yourself the many ways WVSOM can help you on your path to patient care. Including our dual track learning methods; Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Systems Based Learning (SBL), which allow you to learn in an environment that recognizes everyone learns differently.

WVSOM is committed to embracing technological advancements that improve the quality of learning for our students and ultimately the quality of care for the patients in their charge. One of the ways we currently accomplish this is through our robot labs for simulated patient care. We continually evaluate new and proven methods, and are committed to including them as they are found beneficial to our programs.

If you are planning on attending medical school we would like to help you any way we can. Feel free to call and one of our team members can help you in your quest. Call: 1-800-356-7836 or use the contact info below.
