Mission Statement

The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to assist and strengthen in every proper and useful way the advancement of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Vision Statement

WVSOM Foundaion, Inc., was established in 1978 to advance the cause of education in the osteopathic medical profession and to assist in the development and growth of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, its faculty and students.

Tax Exemptions

WVSOM Foundation, Inc. is a separate non-profit 501(c)3 organization that has an independent Board of Directors that supports the mission of WVSOM. All contributions to the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine Foundation are tax exempt within the fullest extent of the law.
