Getting Started with Research at WVSOM

In order to conduct research that involves human subjects at WVSOM or any affiliated clinical training location, investigators must submit their project ideas for approval from the WVSOM Institutional Review Board (IRB).

Research projects that require the use of animals must be approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).
