Office of Business Affairs

The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine continues to be one of the top medical schools in the nation. Along with high academic standards, the financial position of the school remains strong as noted in the WVSOM Financial Statements.

The Office of Business Affairs uses the BANNER Finance module as its official budgetary and accounting system. Along with this module, the school uses the BANNER Student module for admissions, registration and student accounts. As a state agency in the WV Higher Education system, the school receives the majority of its revenues from the state appropriations, student fees, and private, gifts, and grants sources. The school is currently debt free.
