College/University Campus Visits

A representative from WVSOM visits college and university campuses throughout the country. This provides an opportunity for you to learn more about osteopathic medicine without leaving your campus. The representative will be available for questions about osteopathic medicine, admission requirements, and financial aid.

During the winter and summer months, representatives from WVSOM visit selected communities. This activity is designed to target non-traditional students who are considering a career in osteopathic medicine.

WVSOM Open House

Each year WVSOM hosts a Fall, Spring and Summer Open House for prospective students to learn more about osteopathic medicine and WVSOM. Each Open House provides information about osteopathic medicine, admissions requirements, financial aid and a campus tour. The prospective students also have the opportunity to meet WVSOM students and faculty.
