Collage of Team Interventions 

Team members participated in the Northern Greenbrier Health Clinic Women's Health Screening on October 10th, in Williamsburg, WV; lead intern assisted with registration, patient screening and education for nineteen patients. Lewisburg's Annual Taste Of Our Town (TOOT) Festival on October 14th, provided the team an excellent opportunity to provide awareness, education, and screening information on breast cancer and domestic violence prevention. Team members participated in a joint booth display with Greenbrier Valley Medical Center for Breast Cancer Recognition Month and distributed literature, pink and purple ribbons, and pink M&M's in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence irrevention Month. 

Public Service Announcement (PSA) on breast cancer was recorded for radio by team members and broadcasted by three local radio stations serving Greenbrier and Pocahontas counties. Pocahontas County High School Outreach program was given to 200 high school females on breast health, breast self-exam, and breast cancer screening programs. The Pocahontas County Women's Health Screening was implemented at the Pocahontas County Health Department, Marlinton, WV. In cooperation and collaboration with the Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program and the Pocahontas County Health Department, the team arranged for clinical breast exams and other health screens for women for the first time in Pocahtntas County. The team assisted with the WVSOM Women's Health Screening at the Robert C. Byrd Clinic in Lewisburg, where 96 women were screened. Team members assisted with the screening, provided breast health education, mammography referrals and assisted 2nd year medical students with documentation on breast and pelvic exams.
