Focus Area: Healthy People 2010 - Injury and Violence Prevention:

• Objective 15.2: Reduce the rate of forced sexual assault or attempted forced sexual assault to less than 16/1 per 100,000 population.
• Objective 15.3:(Developmental) Reduce the incidence of maltreatment of children younger than 18 to fewer than 6,438 cases annually.

Team members designed and implemented a three stationed interactive presentation on sexual assault prevention among adolescents to over 85 students at Oak Hill High School in Fayette County, WV, and they developed and distributed a brochure entitled "lnternet Safety: Parent's Guide to Online Social Communities", specifically to educate parents on tips and information to keep their children safe while on social networking sites.
