Financial Aid Calendar

January

Tuition and Fees due for the spring semester.  Financial Aid refunds.

Returning students receive financial aid instructions from the Financial Office. Begin completion of the necessary forms. This includes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

If you completed a FAFSA for the previous academic year, you should receive a Renewal FAFSA to reapply. Go to the FAFSA site to electronically complete the form: www.fafsa.ed.gov.

March 1

Have FAFSA completed.

April 1

Deadline for receipt of all financial aid forms (FAFSA results and WVSOM Financial Aid application) in the Financial Aid Office for maximum loan consideration.

June

Tuition and Fees due for third and fourth year students for fall semester.  Financial aid refunds released to third and fourth year students.

August

Registration and financial aid refunds (after payment of tuition and fees) for first and second year students for the fall semester.

December 15

Last date to apply for additional financial aid for second semester (emergency situations will be considered after this date).
