Orientation

The Orientation Committee welcomes you to WVSOM. We are looking forward to meeting each of you in August and working with you throughout the year.

Your medical education at WVSOM officially begins on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 8:00am. Every student is required to attend all orientation sessions as scheduled. The purpose of orientation is twofold. First, to welcome you to the WVSOM community by familiarizing you with the faculty, staff, and institutional resources. The second purpose is to prepare you for the start of your curricular studies the following week by providing you with an introduction to the demands and expectations of your academic schedule.

In addition to an introduction to the curriculum, the Orientation program will include opportunities for you to socialize with other members of your class, the Class of 2011, as well as faculty and staff. Social activities will be available in the evening for you and your spouses/partners to introduce you to Lewisburg and the surrounding area.

Please check this website on a regular basis for updates of important information as it will be updated regularly up until August 4, 2008.

Sincerely,

Meg McKeon, Ed.D. Malcolmb Modokowski, Ph.D. James Nemitz, Ph.D.
