Control and management of the affairs of the Mountain State Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institutions, Inc., is vested in the Governing Board of Directors.

The Central Member of Mountain State OPTI, The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, is represented by the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean, the Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education, and the Vice President for Finance.

The Mountain State OPTI Executive Director serves as a non-voting board officer. Each Partner Hospital is represented by its president or chief executive/operating officer, or by that officer's designee.
