Ready to Join Our Family?

WVSOM uses the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service (AACOMAS) to process its applications. All application materials and instructions are available on the website of AACOMAS (www.aacom.org). Once you have submitted your application, you must arrange to have official transcripts from all colleges attended and MCAT scores sent directly to AACOMAS.

DO NOT send this information to WVSOM. MCAT scores can be no older than three calendar years from the time of matriculation. You can check the status of your AACOMAS application online anytime after submission.

Avoid Delays... Submit Your Materials Early

WVSOM reviews applications, conducts interviews and makes decisions throughout the admissions cycle. Submitting materials early will ensure timely processing and avoid delays with interview openings or filled classes.

Supplemental Application & Required Documents

Once your AACOMAS application is received you will be given access to the supplemental application materials, which are submitted electronically.

If an opportunity for an interview is extended, you will be asked to electronically submit additional forms that will be made available to you at that time.  The non-refundable application fee of $40 in-state and $80 out-of-state will be required prior to an interview.

Plus Two Evaluation Letters

In addition, two evaluation letters are required: one from an osteopathic physician and one from a premed committee or a science faculty who taught you in class. Submit all forms and letters to:
