Ovarian function is a critical aspect of female fertility. One focus of my research is to better understand gene regulation in the ovary. One aspect of our studies is to determine how metabolic disorders impact female fertility.

Additional studies focus on how the structure of the ovary facilitates its function.  Information gained from our studies will enable us to better identify what goes awry leading to sub-/infertility and could facilitate development of methods to inhibit or enhance fertility.
