The Office of Human Resources is dedicated to fostering a work environment that attracts and inspires excellence in faculty and staff, allowing WVSOM to successfully fulfill its educational mission.

Under the direction of Leslie Bicksler, MSW, Associate Vice President for Human Resources, the department is responsible for recruitment, hiring, and retention of a diverse, qualified workforce. The Office of Human Resources provides labor relation services along with employee training and evaluation programs.

The Office of Human Resources' goal is the development of a highly qualified faculty and staff workforce and to help create a work environment which fosters individual achievement, teamwork, integrity, professionalism and accountability.
